PS- If you add the Touch, it will make my upgrade decision even harder!

Vogue (touch) is there, just waiting on a kitchen. ImCoKeMaN bricked his Titan, and that pretty much slowed Vogue kitchen development to a crawl.

As far as the evdo icon showing white arrows (active connection) and gray arrows (dormant), mine does not continuously remain white. Ever since WM5, since I do not use an exchange server, I have configured AS with a random server IP so I could access the menu items to select schedule...manual on both peak and off peak times. I have not figured out if merely deleting the server entirely after changing the schedule to manual is making any difference. However my EVDO connection behaves like it should. (WM 6.1) with the latest kitchen. Is there any other way to disable active push? However, I do notice AS will launch itself periodically in the background, when the phone is on, it shows as a running program in your favorite task manager. But it does not seem to be making any connections, tho. My question remains, is there a way to stop this from happening? It may still be waking up the phone and causing some of the battery issues ppl have? |

Yes, but it did not (for me) in WM5 after setting the AS schedule to manual.

I have not posted about my new 6.1 phone you kitchen guys made possible, because I have been too busy using and enjoying it. What a freaking great phone!!
GGuru, you were right (of course) about .net 3.5 fixing my certificate and software issues. Still managed to fit what I wanted in the ROM. In addition, Active Sync works soooo much better now. On 6.0, it slowed things down so much while syncing it appeared to be frozen. On 6.1, just slightly slower than normal. Great! Looks like I won't be needing to make OEM size lists much longer now that the size guage is almost done. Works good on the Titan side. Amazing work you guys! I am having a hard time finding anything to improve on my phone! (Must be time to change to the 6800.) |

Good! Can we put you to work making screen shots of the various OEMs? I think you'll notice that the ones you provided previously are just about the only ones available.

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308
Hmmm ... well, I don't use any "push" at all, just my data connection to hit my e-mail server (IMAP) and update WP. I'm not using any new software that I wasn't using with the 6.0 kitchen stuff. Done 3 cooked ROMs with the 6.1 stuff so far and all of them have exhibited the "constant on" data connection icon.
