Just read the first post of this thread. There is no link because there is no ROM. There is only The Kitchen, which is used to create customized ROMs and flash them to your device. There is also a thread on the Apache page that includes a step by step. A few of them, actually.

I'm useing Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE 5.2.19716. I have try to update my Sprint PPC6700. It said RUU has stopped working. Down in the Problem signature:
Problem Event name: APPCRASH Application Name: ROMUpgrideUt.exe Application Version: 3.1.7.4.0 I’m now in bootloader mode. I can see my bootloader version is 2.02. I can get it out of bootloader and start again. But it stop. What can I do to get WM6.1 on my Apache. LMK |

Hey, what's up with having TeleNav for Sprint there?
Does it work without notifying Sprint or do I have to sign up for it? Can they tell that I'm using it if I have an unlimited data plan? |

I too was having problems with a lag when entering text, especialy after entering the letter I. I corrected the problem by going into Settings>Input>Word Completion. Change the dropdown menu after "Suggest after entering" from After Space, to 3 letters. Change the other dropdown to suggest 2 words. This corrected the problem for me.

Re: Apache WM6.1 Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19716 (Build 19716.1.0.0) - UPDATED 20080308
Hey, I know I've asked the question before (and searched), but no one has really addressed the issues yet.
The Data Connection icon and how it does NOT show idle mode. And, NO, I am not using push e-mail, and everything works fine with the same programs installed on both WM 5.0 and the 6.0 kitchen. MMS seems to work fine with pics, but movies won't show. It thinks its showing (bar moves across the screen) but no movie. It works this way in the 6.0 kitchen as well. I can save the "object" and then play it in Media Player, but I can not get it to show in the MMS app directly. My last problem was choppy performance in Media Player with my sync'd Media Center tv shows. The 30 minute files run about 78 megs. They play smooth as silk in the stock 5.0, but the 6.0 and 6.1 kitchens play choppy. I recently up'd the page pool to 12 (I think) in my 6.0 cooked ROM and that seems to have helped. So, any of you Kitchen Gods have any ideas? I'd like to try going back to 6.1 but |

"Disabled/Unavailable" works fine; but I have not ever seen an idle data connection. Please send me or post somewhere your Kitchen ROM configuration file for the XV6700 - I'd like to try it!
I don't think the codec is the problem ... Is anyone else having this problem? Again, if someone on Verizon is using the 6.0 or 6.1 Kitchen on the XV6700 please post or send me your configuration file. Yeah, they're on the SD card. I can't say I've tried changing the SD block transfer size ... increasing the pagepool did seem to help. I'll do a search and see what I can find regarding the SD block transfer size and why it's different than the stock ROM. Quote:
