You engage your brain. You need to look at what it's doing and decide if that's what you want. In most cases, this is because you selected an icon pack and that's overwriting the original icons.

Now I get a message that the default splash animation isnt found, even though I don't have a splash animation chosen. Is this thing broken?

Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here

When I try to run BuildOS I am getting "Error 2755.Server returned unexpected error 110 attempting to install package C:\Documents and Settings" and when I use PPCBuildOS is won't extract on my computer. Any clue as to what I am doing wrong?

Nope, no icon pack installed, don't even have any options for icon packs.

Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here

Has anyone had problems with locking the device with a simple PIN and then rebooting? the device will lock up @ the unlock screen and the only way i can find to fix it is to plug in external power.

i've search through the forums but haven't seen this issue posted.

Thanks.

Re: New BuildOS - Report Bugs Here

Wrong imgfstools.dll. We're checking to see what went wrong.

EDIT: I don't see a problem with the downloads.
Do this:
1) edit (using your favorite text editor) "c:\program files\ppckitchen.org\buildos\updater\sections_buil dos.xml"
2) delete the lines starting with <SECTION name="buildos" (you will have 1 or 2)
3) run updater and select only the BuildOS update

Alternatively, you can uninstall/download/reinstall BuildOS.msi

Question Power Button while on the Phone?

Anyone seen this? Hit the power button while talking on the phone... If I do this, the screen goes black and never comes back without a soft boot no matter how many time I hit the power button or how long I hold it, but the phone keeps working till the other person hangs up... Is this a kitchen issue?
