I can't seem to find a way to do so.
Any setting that he has available is in the registry. It's sort of a pain to configure every time he updates it. BTW.. the version in the kitchen is outdated, he's on 0.72 now.

You can find his latest version and config info here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=339786

Well, I successfully de-virginized my 6700 yesterday (I was gun-shy about doing anything radical to it ever since my first one bricked on me for no apparent reason while I was at JavaOne & left me without a phone for days). I decided to go for WM6 after all, partly because this kitchen seems to be a huge improvement over the older ones. A few questions, though, as I get bolder and plan reflash #2...

a) Is there any reason to use a RUU-type besides "Standard"? I have a Sprint PPC-6700 that seems to have the 1.0 bootloader (if I reset while holding voice command & power, I get a screen that says "USB 1.0")

b) Did I read correctly somewhere that I should ALWAYS launch the bootloader before trying to reflash (it's kind of a blur, but I vaguely remember reading somewhere that you CAN flash without launching the bootloader, but it's somehow riskier)

c) Are any of the alternate dialers (HTC Touch, etc) pictured on page 2 of this thread part of the kitchen, or are they all installed afterward? I'm particularly interested in the dialers that omit the dial/hangup buttons (since the hardkeys are right there anyway) and use the screen's full width for 3 buttons instead of 4.

No, the other types are only for specific cases. If you have the 1.0 bootloader then you should use standard.

No it just saves a step, and reduces complexity. The RUU app must check your phone's CID value and it's quicker to do that from bootloader directly. If you flash the phone with it booted into Windows, it uses a different method to check the CID and then puts it into bootloader itself. It's up to you.

Yes they are all included in the kitchen. No need to install anything else.

OK, so what do I have to do to get the "Bluefrog Bigbutton" dialer?

You select it from the Phone section of BuildOS. Just to clarify what I said earlier, you can only install one dialpad (well actually two if you count the native crossbow one--a reg entry toggles between them).

Wow, amazing job Helmi, you really are God.

(psst, maybe, just maybe, when your bored, you can incorporate desktops, such as "vista layout" or XP layout, with the start menu on the bottom etc...that would be unreaaal)

Talking ALL HAIL Helmi & Co.

Just d/l'd and flashed - all I can say is AWESOME!
Thank you guys sooo much for all your hard work and geekiness! If only most of us had the patience and knowledge of hacking away at things would we all be truly greatful for the time and fun u ALL put into this site (Apache Section in general) for common comradery.

Had bluetooth issues with original ver. of WM6 so I will keep my fingers crossed. But as she looks/feels now, as if she were brand new again!

Thanks to the entire kitchen team again. You all Rock! =D>=D>=D>=D>

Excellent work guys. For people who may have never met each other face to face and who don't have any particular incentives to come together to work on something for the community is a very noble achievement. Kudos to the lot of you.

I was just wondering if any of the developers have seen the ability to merge the ext. rom with the storage memory. I have seen it done on the HTC Hermes and was wondering is this something possible for the apache?

Gotta tip my hat to Helmi and the entire ROM team. You guys have really banded together to turn an otherwise unremarkable stock product into a supercharged converged device that I just CAN'T live without.

Many thanks
