I've had it happen once. It did actually flash the ROM. I had to put my phone under a bright light to read the screen which told me the installation was successful.

This seems to happen when your rom build is too big. About 64-65MB seems to be the max size. You might try a build with fewer OEMs and see what happens.

The shortcut targets "fexplore.exe" in the kitchen. which is the os file explorer
But helmi's rom shortcut targets "cecmd.exe" Which is the total commander file explorer.

But if you open both shortcuts the both read "21#:MSFEXPLORE" i guess is a command line for both.

Now anyone know how to fix this to get helmi's rom file explorer. I tried building with total commander in, then resco explorer. even both. neither worked.

Maybe its an added reg entry helmi put in his rom?

Fixed t.

Open up the "File Explorer.lnk" in "windows\Start Menu\Programs" with notepad and replace whats there with this.

25#"\Windows\cecmd.exe" MSFEXPLORE

"cecmd.exe" Is located in "OEM_Helmi_Addition"
it also in "total commander" oem and "Optional_VerizonguyApps" oem.

Yeah your right. I experimented and seem's around 64mb was the sweet spot.

I must say though you can pack this rom with oems. I was never able to add this much in the wm5 kitchen.

***edit*** I just looked in the WM6 folder, and Cricket is already in there. When you are building the ROM you have select Cricket in the Carrier Customize section. Then it will show up when you encode.

Thank you! ....... but i did select cricket in the carrier customizations in build os right?? then when it says encode cricket is not in "Tools" there? there is verizon,sprint,altel.......... but not cricket ?
