Have you used the EVK recently successfully?

Yes, I did release it with my name.... Try using the "Load Rom" buttom up top. ..\Tools\RomSaved

the first time I saved it in c:\evk\*

the second time I stuck it on my desktop like

c:\documents and settings\orangekid\desktop\kitchen\*

I then redownloaded again and laoded his template then hit "create rom" without tweaking anything and still got the same error. I feel like it has to be the kitchen or this computer is completely firewalling something.

I can see how much work you've put in your roms and kitchens and i really do appreciate it, I'm just frustrated at myself for not getting it to work, and it looks like it's probably something on my end if it works for everyone else.

I'll download the EVK kitchen tomorrow, and give it a run. If you have spaces in the kitchen directory it will fizz out "c:\documents and settings" for example has spaces. the c:\evk should have worked, so I'll get to testing it tomorrow and let ya know.

I don't recall if there was something with xp or what... I got 2.13 this morning finally and am reverse-engineering that. I will in the meantime install EVK fresh and verify that it's working on my machine for ya. In the meantime you might check out ervius's kitchen thread and see what's there. I'll have a new kitchen up later in the day as well.

In that case, I'll just DL your new EVK later on tonight, no sense in racking our brains on this one if I've got a new one coming anyways

Yea, but I've got all day. But I unarchived a fresh kitchen, opened up the kitchen as an administrator, clicked load rom and the 21903.erv and it built just fine. Don't know what's going on, you may want too check out ervius's thread anyway for the upcomming kitchen. Here's my buildlog, untouched...

New Ervius Visual Kitchen w/ RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_2.13 base. Also fixed issues w/size of rom forcing you to use compression on 23568 rom builds. And new bing w/voice or something like dat....
