This is just getting rediculous im getting tired of waiting. Hopefully the April 15 release is still legit but im getting angry and ready to switch att is looking good with HD7S. Even new leaks dont even show the phone.

Yep, looks like after my business trip when I return (i'll be away for 3-4 weeks) no WP7 on Verizon and the HD7s is out, guess what, I will be done...

Sick of the BS.... Now Verizon is just trying to piss off their customers or Microsoft...They have had plenty of time for testing

if it isn't out this coming Friday they will probly try to continue to push it back until June. which was the first rumor. and as for the post above,getting a thunderbolt isn't the answer because that's exactly what they want u to do.

I am in the same boat as most of you and want a WP7 device like an addict; I was pissed about the delays and was seriously thinking about buying an android device, but then I decided to consider the most logical reason VZW may be delaying the Trophy.

They are supposedly testing NODO on a world phone to add copy and paste (& other minor tweaks) because the masses bitched about it non-stop. I am far from a "power user" and used copy and paste on my TP2 maybe 7 times in 2 years; it is not a function I would have missed. VZW, in an attempt to shut people the f#ck up, decides to implement NODO on their launch device and ensure it works flawlessly anywhere that there is a compatible signal on the planet. So do we get mad at the people who bitched, or the company trying to release a phone that will not fail you no matter where you go? I'd rather not have to call customer service for a problem that a few more weeks of testing could have prevented, especially if I am travelling overseas.
I would have preferred to own a WP7 device while waiting for the update (as I'm sure most of you would have too) but before you say f#ck it and buy an android, give VZW the benefit of the doubt.

I hope you like the Droid you decide to settle on and/or the coverage & quality of service that the carrier that you switch to provides Dont take my comment as being dismissive, I'm just trying to bring a positive vibe to this thread and arguing with you will not help with that.

Why is VZW pushing the date back AFTER offering the phone to employees? Just to LOL at microsoft and say "thats what they get for giving us a phone to release." Sorry but that doesn't float in my toilet. I doubt VZW is just sitting on this completed phone just to piss anybody off, especially after finding out that the public knows about these leaked offers (why piss your customers off too?).
Maybe I'm wrong though; maybe they are pushing the phone back to coincide with the release of the new iphone to hurt sales, but again you would have to ask why the constant date changes and why would a company try to sabotage a potential money maker? I dont care how much I hate a person, if they make me money I am shaking his/her hand.

Well.. I'm not going android.. I'm considering going to AT&T .. or get an eyephone.

Sometimes.. its worth looking at the big picture.. and the actions of a carrier.. VZW is THE WORST at releasing new phones (of any brand or OS). Now they just cancelled the 1 year contract option.. and have committed to tiered data.

I have great reservations that they would be one to release updates to WP7 in a timely manner given their history with phone releases and updates...

So.. the sum is not really rosey IMO with regard to VZW.. Not that AT&T is some shining star either.. pick your poison.. but at least they have several models to choose from and will be getting the HD7s SOON !

I just finished looking over closely at the coverage maps.. and well.. there's very little difference.. next step will be to contact AT&T and see if I can test a phone before I commit... I'm just glad I dont live some place like.. say... Wyoming where you really have no choice in carriers
