I have been using a moto H700 with my 6700, I have had the A revision of the headset since it came out. Til the other day when I found a B revision, so i swapped them out, the B revision works so much better! I actually had to turn the volume down on my headset

my nxzen also has the same problems with my ppc6700 but so had all the other headsets ive used i think its a problem with the newest revision of the phone and the latest software update. we may have to get ahold of utstar and sprint on this. how new is the phone yall are using.

also i have noticed that when using bluetooth with my phone it seriously kills the battery when using bluetooth. but my wifes uncles mda he can have his phone on with stock battery all day and using bluetooth and still have half battery i think there is a problem with either the latest software or a combination of both software and hardware....

If in a phone call, < 3% increase in battery consumption . So there is something else going on with your phone. I ran my 1500mAh battery yesterday with Push email, auto-update weather (4hrs) and BT in a low signal environment on for nearly 15 hours and was still at 50%. (BTW, I use the Plantronics 640 Discovery headset and love it.) |

with my phone with just bluetooth turned on it kills the battery doesn't even have to be connected to the headset. I've got the 2800 mah battery and can barely mae it through a whole day

This is what I have found and reported to Nexzen customer service
I can reproduce this every time, I have 2 ppc 6700 and here is the scenario. I have the Nexzen paired with the first PPC 6700 and make a test call with my house phone and the nexzen rings with the phone normally. Then I take the second PPC 6700 turn on the Bluetooth and make the PPC discoverable to other devices. Next I call the 2nd PPC, which is not paired with the nexzen at all, after the call I hang up and call the first PPC 6700 and the Nexzen no longer rings with the PPC. There is something in the multiple device programming in the nexzen that is causing the nexzen to not stay paired with the phone when other Bluetooth phones are in the area. I have done some posting on the web and have found other people with this same problem and as contact with other phones ringing is a random concept others cant explain what is happening with their pairing problems. Could you test my findings and see if I have a bad headset or if this is an inherent problem with the Nexzen headset. The nexzen is still the best headset that I have ever owned and if there is a solution to this problem I will be very happy with my decision to purchase this headset. Thanks for your help. I will follow up here when I have a solution from Nexzen, they have been good about replying promptly to my questions and I have an ongoing service ticket with them.
