Well, that's part of what I was trying to find out - what about Internet Sharing was not working in 1.0, and fixed in the later ROMs?

This hopefully fixed 1.53, I deleted NetCF3.5 and added in NetCF which should be over writable by a cab. I also packaged up the NBH and RUU into one convient package, simply run the CFay exe.

THIS IS MY LAST ATTEMPT TO FIX THIS, NOT HAVING A DEVICE MAKES IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIX ISSUES. I added in the Stock NetCF from the shipped rom and also fixed the Partial Display error which was causing the black pixels on the screen. If I helped you please consider a donation. Thanks, CFay.

Hey CFay...you might could borrow my coffee dipped but still fully functional Treo Pro if you are bored and really want to do some cooking for the ol TrPr community. (Since apparently you are addicted to helping out. I have a used pre on the way and I'm looking at the Samsung Moment and the TP2...so ?

Depending on how much I get into TP2 rom cooking I might take you up on that.

Has anyone tried 1.53? Are the errors fixed?

I've been using 1.53 and its just fine. Outside of the black clock box in standby and the IE freeze when using the d-pad, everything elso is stable. I noticed that Arcsoft is cooked in, so my reg edits wont stick. I could not get my mms with my usual edits, but i did a lil workaround.

Oh YEAH, ## phone codes are missing or not working... I found an old cab made by DETTE that I used to access the dmrouter and epst. It is called CDMA.cab - Much needed for those who flash & make advanced programming edits. Could be the dialer that was used.

I'm using my Treo Pro on Cricket, and it works just as well as my Touch Pro.

Going to flash to 1.54 now for testing

CFay, I have been using 1.54 for a few hours now. I really like it....I have now used all of yours and the one from acidhax. I like 1.54 the best....in large part because I like this build of Windows the best. I really think I hate the new bottom taskbar, especially on a 320x320 screen.

The only problem I have encountered so far is with the ATContacts panel. I don't know if this is a .net issue or what...but it crashes whenever I try to change any of the settings in the panel. I know in 1.53 I couldnt even get the panel to display...but now it does, just won't let me customize it.

You may be retired and you may not even care to have further posts regarding your ROM, but I just in case, I wanted to give my two cents.

For those that don't like the bottom taskbar, don't want to give up HTC task manager, and can live without ATContacts, this is the ROM to use!

To be thorough, the problem with ATContacts might not be due to the ROM....I haven't tested things completely through. I need to try another app that requires .net to get a better feel for why ATContacts doesnt work.

I am flashing 21857 right now. I am an IT guy who has four clients with Treo Pros. They have been getting their phones flashed by me on an hourly basis for the past few days. It has been a blast for me!

So both the CFay and acidhax ROMs are getting full working by me.
