CFay 6.5 Rom! CEOS 5.2.21324 ! Windows Mobile 6.5! 1.54 FINAL Uploaded with Fixes.

iguidance 2009 errors in 1.52 and 1.53.

I use realvga to make it fit into the screen and I run iguidanceQVGA.exe.

It runs fine 1.0.

It errors in 1.52 and 1.53. I can see my current position and locks onto satellites. I can't input any address or look up any POIs. It seems that it can't find where the maps are stored or my recent destinations, but it can finds where my current position is and displays it accurately.

When I exit the program it says "An invalid argument was encountered" which I think that the program is trying to store the currently coordinates.

I did a registry compare, but I can't see any wrong paths. Any hints on solving this?

Is there any way to fix Internet Sharing on the 1.0 version of ROM?
So far, that's the only ROM that works for me...
And I need the Internet Sharing to work.
Is there a file that was patched that I can replace, or a CAB I can install that will fix this?

Guys i've tried everything to get either of my computers (one is win xp, other is win 7) to recognize my phone in bootloader mode. Neither machine will. Its unlocked and flashable cuz i was able to flash the posted stock rom as a test. I get into boot loader mode and it starts at 0% but never progresses. Same thing happend when i try to flash from SD card. I dont know if its these computers or my phone. Anyone have similar experiences? I've tried every conbination of plugging and unplugging USB throughout the process, no luck!

This is my final attempt at fixing this rom with NetCF, Partial display should be working as well as NetCF, this is all I can do because I dont own a Treo anymore and its hard to blindly fix problems. I hope this fixes all the issues.

This hopefully fixed 1.53, I deleted NetCF3.5 and added in NetCF which should be over writable by a cab. I also packaged up the NBH and RUU into one convient package, simply run the CFay exe. THIS IS MY LAST ATTEMPT TO FIX THIS, NOT HAVING A DEVICE MAKES IT ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIX ISSUES. I added in the Stock NetCF from the shipped rom and also fixed the Partial Display error which was causing the black pixels on the screen. If I helped you please consider a donation. Thanks, CFay.

I haven't tried this yet, especially since I have 1.0 set up like I want it.
But if this still doesn't work, any chance you can go back to the 1.0 version, and just fix the spinning dots, and and Internet Sharing?
Or is there a way to officially fix those items once the ROM is already installed (not with the spinning thing workaround)?
I just pretty much have it set up like I want it, so it would be a lot easier not to have to flash again...

No I cant, those fixes are hex edits in the XIP dll's and cant be installed in a cab.

1.0 rom was built in my 1.54 kitchen therefore I dont have the 1.0 rom anymore.

Either get a program that will do IS for you (like PDAnet) or get a registry editor and enable it... read around the forums.
