can any please he lp I've been trying to upgraage sine this morning with no luck everytime i try to unlock always loose connection

do you get error 206?


Here is the trick.

Before you run his application, youre supposed to connect your phone to your PC.

Then you run his application (hard spl.exe)

Then during the application, there are a few screens... On the screen where it asks you to make sure of a few things and one of the thigns is to make sure to Connect your phone via USB.... THAT'S when you disconnect / reconnect your phone via USB.


it was in my post on the previous page.. a clarification

. Before you run the applications, your steps say to connect the phone via usb, also one of the screens in the program ask you to make sure to connect via usb.. at this point, you must Disconnect/Re-connect the phone or you'll get Error 206 Connection

I am trying to unlock two Palm Treo Pro phones and I am unable to get this to work on either phone. I have been trying since this first came out. I am disconnecting/connecting the USB, copying the manual cab to the phone, and all the other steps mentioned. I need help before I throw both of them out the window. I need to unlock them so I can flash an updated ROM. I have done this previously to other phones with no problems.

Please help. This is my first time posting.

FYI: Phones purchased from Alltel & are one of those unhappy can you not hear me now customers sold to Verizon. Phones still show Alltel OEM info.

I have read all the post starting with page 1 and also post on other sites. I wait until the first box and plug up the phone before I click OK. ?Then I get that Fatal Error box saying that I must use Active Sync or Windows Mobile to synch the phone (which has been done numerous times along with switching ports, cables, and different laptops), then I get the final error screen. I have added the cab to the phone and ran it, done the manual bootloader and RUU and it will never go beyond 0%.

for those who are having problem doing the first step and usb can't be recongized, i found a solution that worked on windows 7 !
Reset your phone and keep it connected to your computer while reseting.
Have PANTHER_CDMA_HSPL... file ready to run !
As soon as the phone starts to sync with your computer, or as soon as you hear the sound of it synching ( not usb connection, wait for it to start synch ) run the PANTHER_CDMA... file and it will pick up your device and your phone will go to the tricolour screen. When the application starts you have to agree to terms and conditions, on the second or 3rd screen disconnect the usb cable and reconnect it and then press next and it will work for you... then it will restart and you can load the new ROM on it...
