That happens when you break the manilla, usually with an incompatible cab.
If you havent loaded anything, I would reflash.

Also the new task manager looks nice but i don't see any setting for it.
I wonder whats the benefits?

Re: [ ROMs ][ 2-4 ][ v1.5 ][ 28223 \ 21891 \ 21056 ] Calkulin's Manila & Spb ROMs

So I noticed the new Build number and so downloaded the rom "Calkulin's Touch Pro2 21891 Manila 2.1 ROM v1.5.7z"...

Animated weather uploaded instantly upon booting up and ran across the screen so fast I though I was seeing things...

Dumbfounded, I decided to scroll the manilla tabs...
Suddenly everyone looked at me as I bursted out, "HOLY SHH**TT" WWOOOooowhHHOOOOOOoooooo!!!
Thats when I noticed the texting lookin sweet like my Bros "Hero".

Then the final public humiliation occured when I blurted out "OOMMGG"!!...
As I sent a mms picmail without loading any cabs for sprint...and it worked!

Dam Calkculin, looks like I have a new personal favorite rom.
Only cab I used was the default M$ texting cab so when I click on manila screen, it will go staight to the nice new texting:
Attached Files
File Type: cab OrigDefaultWMtexting4Manila.cab (73.8 KB, 24 views) Click for barcode!

Re: [ ROMs ][ 2-4 ][ v1.5 ][ 28223 \ 21891 \ 21056 ] Calkulin's Manila & Spb ROMs

Running latest(1.5) 28223 2.5 and it absolutely is the shit. Best rom for me in a long time. Two questions-
What is the difference between 28223 and 21891?
Is the a way to remove the little time display in the top right corner, and have a task manager there showing open programs and memory?( like on some other builds)

Thanks again for the great work. Tempted to try the SBP rom for giggles because it is so different - but damn, I'm lovin my phone with this one.

I am using the SPB frontend Rom on a Verizon Touch Pro 2. When ever I try to dial a number using the phone and I hit Send, the number disappears and phone never dials. I am able to call contacts, but not numbers that are not contacts. Any suggestions?

I had ther same issue and figured it out... Goto Launcher... Programs... Tools and phone. choose "disable HTC phone Skin" and soft reset. Different dialer but it works.

I am using v1.5, Manila 2.1, 28223. I am having issue with the slider not aligning properly. Is anyone else having this issue? Does anyone know a fix? Also, can somebody post a link to the Manila 2.1, WM 6.5.X, v1.4 build? Thanks!

Re: [ ROMs ][ 2-4 ][ v1.5 ][ 28223 \ 21891 \ 21056 ] Calkulin's Manila & Spb ROMs

Hey quick question to anyone...

I was using CMY black dialer until I final crossed in the 6.5.x world. Since this trip, the dialer will not work. I asked CMY about it and he said that Calk uses a different dialer package and that the reason why it wont work. So Im curious if anyone else is using a black dialer (other than Dusk) and if so, do mind sharing it? Thanks in advance.

Re: [ ROMs ][ 2-4 ][ v1.5 ][ 28223 \ 21891 \ 21056 ] Calkulin's Manila & Spb ROMs

Running the 28223 with sense 2.5, and I've gotta say this is utterly fantastic. Only problem I have seen is sense crashing (fairly repeatedly) when sending texts using the HTC messaging client (like if you just tap a new message to reply from the text tab) I just go to all messages and use what I guess is the windows client, I like the chat bubble look far more and it's significantly faster anyway.

I love the fact that we don't have to go through a bunch of steps to get MMS texts working, thank you very much Calkulin!
