Shall I presume that the 6.1 Roms are way 'snappier' (txting, emailing, screen rotation) than the 6.5 Roms? Can anyone who has tried both comment?

Thanks Calk for the SPB ROM's. I flashed 6.1 SPB and am having issues with the icons for a lot of the system setting etc. Bluetooth icon reads Bluetooth but there is no icon and one cannot access the Bluetooth settings! A few other icons are blank and USB to PC is bringing up the lock screen. There is no icon for that also...I'm going to try 6.5 and see if that works but at the moment 6.1 needs a little work. These issues are in the SPB folders only.

Dont know if anyone here really uses it, but I am unable to get SD Encrypt to stick. When I check the box, close the window, come back to the option, the box is unchecked. Didnt have this issue with 23518 2.5 RC 1.5, anyone have any suggestions?

Calk, I'm using the 21891 SPB rom and I want to tell you....this may be the best rom I have ever used.. I havent had a full day on it yet, but as far as I can see up to now, it is SPECTACULAR! Thanks so much. It is perfect for me.

One question though.....is there a way to toggle the "balloon/bubble" style in text messaging? I like the old style better.

Also (ok one MORE question), I notice after boot thatIm at 104.3 MB free and it seems to dwindle down slowly after a couple hours to about 70-80MB and running CleanRam doesnt free more that 2 or 3 MB..........why is that? And what can I do to get the memory back up there?

Nice rom, but I couldn't get active sync to work. I tried both 6.1 roms. The manila 2.1 and 2.5 and neither would work a sync to my exchange server. Bummer because I really thought the 2.1 manila 6.1 rom to be really sweet every other way. I looked and searched and all I found was untick the box for faster data in the usb to pc options. That did nothing. If theres a fix I missed I'd sure like to hear about it, because I'd like to find a rom to stay with and I do prefer 6.1 without all the verizon garb. My program mem was running over 100mb. Very sweet, speed was fast also. So whats the deal with the active sync? In my search I came across many with the same issue, but no fix.

I'm enjoying the 28223 rom so far. It's runs fast and smooth and the only con I have found so far is the ram gets eaten kinda fast, and CleanRam only works on level 1 or else it crashes HTC Sense.

21891 Manila 2.1 ROM v1.5 running like a champ man. Very stable and fast =) I, also, am looking forward to 23xxx versions like many. Great work!
