When you go to settings, all settings it is at the same level at System and Personal, but not in either of them. You will see an icon for System, one etc and one for Home.

That's what i'm used to, hitting settings in the windows menu takes you to another set of icons that includes system, personal and connections, but for some reason my settings icon takes me directly to the manila settings, so there's no way to get to the today/home settings. I just finished downloading the rom again so after a flash dance I'll see what happens.

Im running sprint 28005 Manila 2.5 ROM (v1.1) 6.5.3. I can't recieve MMS? Well i get the message then i go to download it and it says "unable to download message from....."?
Did i do something wrong? also i cant send them..

Here you go Brutha... I hated the fact that it went to the manila settings as well so i searched around and here is the fix..

First go to /windows/start menu/programs... and delete the settings icon.. ( use resco explorer or total commander.. you will have to unhide system file to view it )

then using a registry editor do the following HKLM/Security/Shell/StartInfo and change the key "HideSettings" from 1 to 0

MAKE SURE YOU SOFT RESET AFTER!!

*note* the first step isnt necessary but if you dont do it you will have 2 settings icons.. on will go the the manila settings tab and one will be the default windows settings

Thanks, worked like a charm. Now if i could only change the home screen background without killing the weather animation. I tried apristel's bg4all, which is supposed to allow you to add any wallpaper without breaking the weather animation, but it didn't work for me.

Love this ROM. I downloaded 6.5.3 with manilla 2.1. The only real problem I have is with MMS. It shows that there is a MMS but when I go to download it - it looks as if it stops at 99% almost like it doesn't know how to open it. Other than that I have no issues. Thanks for the great work!!!!

Good luck...it appears that folks have abandoned this thread for some reason. But I'm running the 2.5 28005 on sprint and I don't have a problem with MMS. What carrier are you with and what MMS program are you trying to download? I'm not sure if the cooked in programs are the same with 2.1 and 2.5, but Arcsoft comes installed on the 2.5 rom. Maybe the new download is conflicting with the currently installed arcsoft. It also might be carrier related from what I've read.

I'm on Sprint and the MMS options are set up correctly. Using Arcsoft 5.2.12.45 that was already in the ROM. I may try to reinstall that over the existing installation and see where that leads me.

Same here, the only issue I have is when replying to a text, I tap the screen to bring up the cursor and nothing happens. Then if you hit the menu icon and then close options and then tap the screen it will come up, rarely does it just work on its own.
