Simple remove the MODESWITCH ext package, and you'll never get it again.

Quite the useless package, hehe.

Caulklin on you next kitchen release if you want to add the CDMA to GSM toggle ext package I made, I posted it here >>> http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...6&postcount=19 I did not make the toggle program, just the ext package.

Now that Olipro has an updated the patched the newer VZ radio 2.23.00 to WU, the CDMA to GSM toggle programs works flawlessly!!! You do not have to select manual mode to get a US GSM carrier lock anymore.

Hey Mighty....do you use the new Album 3.2 from 1922 in your 2.5 roms?? If so, do you have the issue with the left soft key not doing anything in Album???

Will we still be able to switch between CDMA and GSM?

I don't see why not. I am busy painting so I cannot cook a rom at this time and test.

So the winner is, use the new OEM drivers with the older Kernel. =)
Ok, I'm a little confused. I think we both are using similar criteria for good battery behavior but I'm not sure if our results conflict or back each other up.

When you posted the drivers I didn't realize they are in the SYS for each Build.

Does it make sense that I took 23518 from V1.4 and put it in V1.3 and also found a battery friendly ROM. What I saw was clearly related to bluetooth sucking battery down. You didn't mention bluetooth. With bluetooth off both kitchens and various builds seem fine.

But something in V1.44 does something to bluetooth.

But if I took 23518 as is from V1.44 (which includes the new OEMXIP drivers you said had problems) and put that in V1.33, why is it working good on battery, blue tooth and all.

I'd prefer only "patch" V1.44 if possible, rather than revert back to V1.33 which is th eonly way I could get blue tooth stable on power consumption.

Well the bt drivers are in the OEMDrivers folder.

In the sys you do have some bluetooth packages but they are not the drivers.

BTDUN - Bluetooth dial-up networking
Bth_A2DP - Bluetooth A2DP
Bth_HID - Bluetooth HID (Human Interface Device) profile support.

Bottom line is I went back to the old kernel, and am using the new OEMDrivers from the v1.4 kitchen and all is good. =)

Re: [ Kitchen ][ 1-11 ][ v1.4 ][ 23518 / 21888 / 21056 ] Calkulin's Visual WVGA Kitch

Ok, so everyone is hungry for Album 3.2 w. facebook upload on sense 2.1, but here's the thing.

1) newest albums WILL NOT work. The reason your softkeye is not working is because it uses manila layering to pull up the menu's which are included in 2.5 manila, not 2.1. So because the files are not present, it cannot pull up the menu's.

I've HAD Album 3.2 working with 2.1, here's the thing. 1) It needs to be an older album, from the early leo builds, such as Album 3.2.1916x-1917x. Newer builds will simply not work. In doing so, even if you do get your hands on this Album, there lies another issue which I've yet to conquer. In conjunction with the new album, you also need the Leo Full Screen Player. Because the Leo FSP uses an .exe rather than a .dll (our rhodium uses .dll fullscreen player) when your in 2.1 manila on the photo tab and launch a video, after the video is complete, it goes to a complete black screen. It doesn't exit out of the video or bring up controls, you have to use your hardware keys to either press end, or back to get back to your manila. This also leaves Album open in the background so you have to end the task manually. A VERY ANNOYING BUG.

I wish i could figure this out to offer 3.2 w, facebook upload, but with that bug present, i've decided to let it be for now.

Hope this information is detailed and helps

We may on the same page, can you be a little more detailed in what you took from where and put where. I'm really confused.

I think you found the same thing but may be one or two more steps ahead to get the best of all worlds.

By my stuffing 23518 from V1.4 back into V1.33 what do you think I am getting?

Sorry these terms are all so vague.

Are you just using All V1.4 (as Calkulin released it) except you replace OEMXIPDrivers in the SYS for 23518 (or what ever build your using?).

Are you using blue tooth?
