When you posted the drivers I didn't realize they are in the SYS for each Build.
Does it make sense that I took 23518 from V1.4 and put it in V1.3 and also found a battery friendly ROM. What I saw was clearly related to bluetooth sucking battery down. You didn't mention bluetooth. With bluetooth off both kitchens and various builds seem fine.
But something in V1.44 does something to bluetooth.
But if I took 23518 as is from V1.44 (which includes the new OEMXIP drivers you said had problems) and put that in V1.33, why is it working good on battery, blue tooth and all.
I'd prefer only "patch" V1.44 if possible, rather than revert back to V1.33 which is th eonly way I could get blue tooth stable on power consumption.

Well the bt drivers are in the OEMDrivers folder.
In the sys you do have some bluetooth packages but they are not the drivers.
BTDUN - Bluetooth dial-up networking
Bth_A2DP - Bluetooth A2DP
Bth_HID - Bluetooth HID (Human Interface Device) profile support.
Bottom line is I went back to the old kernel, and am using the new OEMDrivers from the v1.4 kitchen and all is good. =)
