im not sure P. i havent tryed using it on a titanium only rom.

when using manilla 2.5 its already included so i havent tryed the messaging client add on thats in the kitchen. Its the same version thats in manilla though i checked that out.

After my contacts are synced i do see my contacts pic when im messaging them. i do not recall if there showing up when your on the main messaging window though.

id check but i left the phone in the car and the wife just took off to pick the kids up.

i was trying to avoid having manilla files on my phone, but on the rom i did have this working on it had htc sense 2.1 so it seems for the htc client to work, htc sense must be on the phone even if you disable it and run titanium only.

it might be dependent not necessarly on manilla files but maybe some other htc packages.

if thats the case im not sure which the messaging is dependent on.

I do see a HTC message package in the kitchen though. lol

its weird becasue the 1st time i cooked a rom i had that checked only, of course it didn't work. the last time i had them both checked, so it seems i must have htc sense or maybe calkulin will come on and tell me what file i'm missing.
