I do believe this is tied to me adding a 1% battery driver after the build, but from my selections, my battery in the taskbar keeps going in 10% increments. That's why I didn't think there was a driver in the build.

I see what taskbar you are using. What is the "tweaks battery cab"? EDIT: bah, now i know what you are talking about ... the one in the tools folder. I will check it out.
i wasn't talking about the one in the tools folder. I was talking about the last option in the kitchen, but if that is already selected then use the attached battery driver. i also had problems with the driver you are trying to use.

I hope this is the last time I have to build this today. You've been a great help. You will know that this is stable for me if, by the end of the day Calk puts out the new kitchen. LOL

cross you fingers fer me!

Re: [ 11-10 ][ v1 ][ 6.5.x / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual WVGA Kitchen & ROMs

Anybody else have problems with 6.5.x and activesync? I tried Calks and Nrg and both would not sync with XP activesync. Had to revert to Calks 6.5 and it worked fine.

I really like the 6.5.3 look but need it to sync.

Start
Settings
Connections
USB to PC
Uncheck bottom box
Soft reset

IDK but might be it.

Re: [ 11-10 ][ v1 ][ 6.5.x / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual WVGA Kitchen & ROMs

I just cooked a 6.5.1 with build 23506...
I left out EXT's that I put together...and tried to keep it as "stock" as I can from the kitchen. Experienced a spontaneous "soft reset" as I have reported this issue more than a few posts back on a 6.5 ROM I've built.

These were both built on both V1 and V1a.

Any one else have the same issue? All cabs loaded on after...have been tested out on multiple other ROMs.

need some advice on where to start to fix this...(issue happens while I'm in manila)

I've had these random soft resets as well. So far, I haven't had any luck chasing down the cause. I rebuilt last night with 23088 and haven't had a random soft reset.........YET. Let us know if you figure something out.

what is the difference between 23088 and 23506? i cant notice any difference except 23088 is more stable. that being the case, why not just use 23088?

I was having these random soft resets even with those 6.5 builds...I don't think its isolated to builds.

Might be a piece of software NOT playing well with this kitchen.

I've just rebuilt a 23506 and I did NOT install any battery related EXT's. After the flash was complete...I installed nueBattery for the TP2 separately...so we'll see if that helps much. Gonna give it a full day tomorrow at work and see.

Feel like I'm selling out using someone's ready built ROM's instead of cooking my own. Love the sense of freedom this allows.

I had the same issue on the precooked 23506 ROM.
