yep! that's what I was referring to. The second was never selected when I was having the problem so the only option to unselect was the OEM one.

I attached the .tsk and here's a screen shot ... this is what you want, rounded menus, right?

Also, I am building with the 21876 sys with no manila and I did cook in the enhanced menus this time, if that makes a difference.

i tried your .tsk also, its something in my rom thats blocking menu enhancement. i will try to figure it out once the new kitchen is released. thanks for trying. your wallpaper is coo, its blended nicely in the backround, it doesn't stick out.

How do you do a hard reset with this ROM ... the usual process stops at "serial"??

One little potential bug (assuming it wasn't induced by my other tricks) is in 23088: under Sounds & Notifications, I can't select files for certain notifications. The scroll selector pops up but instead the whole background tries to scroll--it's like a focus issue. Strange.

Weird. That setup works fine for me and is basically how Sprint Manila is setup, which is why I think Caulkin left it like that. It only hops to the HTC version when you tap it on the SMS Tab; otherwise it goes through Outlook.

If you rip out HTC Message, does it not effect the "history" of the contacts that HTC has built in--calls, emails, history. And doesn't the Facebook engine rely on it too? I mean, it's not a huge deal, but I thought that was how that file worked.

that's a boot loader; either use the Wipe Storage in Settings --> System or you have to hit the reset button, while holding Send/End and Power. This ROM doesn't change how you hardreset--that's the firmware/HardSPL and is universal on the TP2.

I use Mobile Shell and that history stuff never worked even in stock when I would not use TF3D. I even stripped the facebook engine 'cause i knew it wouldn't be doing anything. I can't even get to contacts or history from the dialer without the TouchFlo stuff. So, short answer is yes, it does effect the history/facebook stuff.

can i ask which options you are selecting in the kitchen? they hava a "menu enhancement" option, plus they have the skin color enhancement? is there another option i'm missing?

I've been using Calku's kitchen since TP1...and I never bothered to ask the following question:

If I cooked in apps such as midomi, coreplayer for example, will I lose system memory space? Meaning, if I cooked all that stuff in VICE installing after the fact onto the storage card...will I run the risk of running out of memory?
