Same here... runs the initial config process... but never kicks in the RUNCC process... just hangs...

BTW... I selected All-Carriers... for those who made it past this point, did you select a specific carrier?

I am a noob at this process, so any help would be appreciated...

I picked verizon and it hangs. I am flashing a rom that should be identical to the 1.4 kitchen. So, I will report back in a few minutes with results.

With 23518 it looks like some can build and some cant so its very strange. I build one with 21889 and all worked great. When you build with 21889 it shows the "windows mobile" runcc screen insted of the black screen with "htc" and Calkulin's Kitchen at the bottom.

With 23518 I have tried Carrier folders from older kitchens, removed all my EXTs, re-extracted the kitchen.. It looks like there is a small difference with this sys and the one from 1.4 like dotnet files being modules and some of the office provision files as far as I can tell. But I am no expert on this...

You'll have to wait, since he hasn't even officially uploade it yet, lol. However, there seems to be a couple of small changes to the OEM area and he added a couple of new packages: resco explorer 2010 beta 3 and Andynear Green SMS Bubbles .6. At least this is what I noted.

Minor changes for the most part, but Calkulin thought it improved speed and some are reporting better battery life.

When 23518 (and I assume all sys) runs correctly, normally you will first get the black HTC Calkulin's Kitchen screen and then the white windows mobile runcc screen.

Since I have been building roms with Calkulin's kitchen (since v. 1), I have not had it not get past the first config screen. That's why I don't know what it could be, but I'm guessing more than a bad package and probably somewhere within the sys, xip or oem. And since I don't think the sys or xip changed, I am leaning towards the oem side of things. However, as already stated, some haven't had any issues, so who knows.
