Does anyone know how to make the left softkey send in HTC Messaging (Manila 2.5)? I know that's the default on Juicy's and MM's project ROMs. Any help would be much appreciated.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila\LSK_Send_Msg
Change from 0 to 1.

Followup from yesterday. I flash to the hybrid sys yesterday afternoon and have had no problems since. Call history works fine as well as some other issues I had seen with the 28205 sys. No hard resets to report but just one soft reset needed after running IGuidance for a bit.

Anyone try to add 23518 sys and xip to this kitchen. I have been researching and I still cannot make it work. It usually crashes on runtime error. Any help would be appreciated. I really like the setup of this rom from Calkulin and hoping to integrate to 23518. Thanks.

I have been intermittently not receiving texts until after a soft reset using 2.5 with 2.1 messaging.when this happens the "all messages" soft key doesn't work has anyone else seen this?

Yes, go to Calkulin's Visual WVGA Kitchen v1.33\OEM\Touch_Pro2\Common\Tweaks - Registry then open mxipupdate_zRegistry_Tweaks_1.provxml with notepad, then change the value of the registry key below that is in bold and red from 1 to 0. Or, if you don't want to recook, go to the dialpad and go to menu/options/cdma services/automatic prepend and select get settings then select the second Radio1 option.

It seems pretty hard to add systems to Calk's Kitchen. I wish it was easier. We usually have to wait until he updates it himself.

I had this happen with 28205. I flashed to the 28014 hybrid and haven't had a chance to test it. However, the hybrid seems to work pretty good overall.

Thanks for the link. I actually resolved the issue, by swapping the the GPS drivers from erice's kitchen and tweaked the registry. Sll seems to be good now.

I have it, and got it to work just fine except I need to change a setting in the boot.rgu. I forgot what I need to change so you can save your ringtone settings and other phone options settings. I will have it uploaded here soon once I figure that out.
