Does the new 1.4 kitchen have the new vz kernel and drivers? I do not see it in the change log or does "based on verizon rom" mean new kernel and drivers?

I get an error after soft reset that is cant find what country the phone is in and it asks you to choose one. But the drop down box is empty. Anyone seen this?

Also what makes the red lettering showing the rom version and radio version on bootup disappear?

I think I'm missing a bit of knowledge concerning HTC Album. What format of video do I need to convert "home" movies to so that I can see them in Album. Currently I'm converting to .avi and its playing in Coreplayer, but it lags in a few places...and not as smooth as it can be.

I have built a rom with the 1.4 kitchen build 23518 and I still have the lower left red lettering at boot. I am sprint if that helps.

Seems to be running great so far, built a 23518 rom all is stable and i have it loaded with apps. THANK YOU! I have been working to try to get 23518 the way i like and could not have without your kitchen!!!! you rock man its been a while since i have used your kitchen (tp days) liking the TSK too thanks a bunch. Threaded E-mail working as it should, text lag seems much better when closing text used to take forever seems that with the 235XX series so far i have seen better text response.

My compliments to Calkin. Running 23518 with the latest Kitchen and it works wonderful. After installing the new landscape-friendly maxmanila enhancement, I'm very satisfied.
