Re: [ Kitchen ][ 12-1 ][ v1.1 ][ 6.5.3 \ 6.5 \ 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual WVGA Kitchen

Success !!! My first Custom ROM. It's already 95% of what I want and I think it already solved my issues I had with Energy ROM. Wow 254mb free

So I have a few easy questions:

1) What is the difference between XIP and SYS (I just set them both to 28005)
2) Like Engery's ROM There is appears to be two Start Menus running. I think it's an HTC Menu and a QuickMenu (I had QuickMenu on in Kitchen) I want ONLY the QuickMenu the one where I can Kill Single Apps or All Apps. What do I need to shutoff in Kitchen or Fix.
3) Is there a way to add something that is uninstallable (like opera and googlemaps)
4) GPS is working fine but Tower Based Location in GoogleMaps does not (but Weather is) any ideas?
5) AutoRotate on Opera 10 Beta 2 (Tried RegEdit for Beta 1 and it didn't work).

Thanks for any tips.

P.S.

Exchange worked fine for me
BlueTooth Headset Hangup Works !!

I was having the same issue. What SIP are you using? I found that 2.1 has no arrows and no vibration, but 2.0 brought back the keyboard vibration.

How is the behavior in the ROMS you have cooked? TIA.
This is how manila is supposed to work. Think of it as though you are pulling the current tab to the right and off the screen, thus pulling the tab on the left into focus. I hope that explanation helps.

I figured out the QuickMenu. You need to Run QuickMenu Manually Once (in Programs) I went in and Verified Options (Which is to AutoStart). I softreset and now it's always their and does not conflict like it did on Energy ROM.

I think Opera AutoRotate needs FlipIt so I'm trying that.

Re: [ Kitchen ][ 12-1 ][ v1.1 ][ 6.5.3 \ 6.5 \ 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual WVGA Kitchen

Ok, I built second ROM after a Successful first with very minor tweets.

Deleted Games.
Added Flip
Changed Clock Color
Changed CommMgr Color

When it came to Provisioning Time It had an Error Box in front saying Check HTCLOG

I ignored Error and Clicked Sprint and it Failed to Install.

I said no to Soft Reset.

Then I Rand xpShut and it Hung.

Hit SoftReset button and it HardReset.

This time no Error but Sprint Provisioning Keeps Failing.

So I said Yes to SoftReset and seems ok.

Also Flipit didn't fix my Opera10 Autorotae Issue.

I may Flash Stock and Try Again.

Re: [ Kitchen ][ 12-1 ][ v1.1 ][ 6.5.3 \ 6.5 \ 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual WVGA Kitchen

I think I know what's going on.

JMZ Thing is in front of the Normal Windows Mobile Progress Bar.

The first time I had run it I had got side tracked and it sat there at JMZ thing for while.

Second time I clicked it right away and it failed.

This time I waited a couple minutes then clicked.

As soon as I did the progress bar came up and it was ALMOST done !!!

That's because it was running behind JMZ's provisioning tool.

But it ran ok.

So don't hit your provider for a good 3 minutes or so.

If you see that windows mobile progress bar you hit it too soon.
