Tested my friend's AT&T SIM on my Sprint TP2
Everything works (data and phone calls).
Had no problems.Simply switched network to GSM and good to go

so i have a sprint branded tp2 want to sim unlock ..and use att sim card does everything work txt ,data,email...on sprint branded tp2 need confirmation please..
finishing my contract with sprint and want to use tp2 w att..would it still work even thought am not activated with cdma sprint??

yes, it will. just follow all the steps, pm me if you need help because the steps aren't clear for people that don't know what they are doing.

It works on AT&T for sure.When you switch to GSM mode it will show available networks (like T-Mobile,AT&T and like 5 more I never herd of lol)
You need to properly unlock though.
When you see that screen saying something like "if you dont know what you doing then dont do it" you will need to figure out what you doing....

i agree with this post, but you need a good .rar tool on your pc, that's the file they send. if you don't have that, you can't open the file.

For AT&T does it drop signal and then do you have to manually reconnect? For t-mobile it does it and it's very annoying

I had at&t and tmobile, their signal dropped every 15 mins. They suck! Sprint have a clear voice connection and 4G coming soon!!!

does the sprint tp2 work on tmobile 3g?
as in once its fully security unlocked.
i know it works for regular calls but thats on 1900band frequency i think the 3g is 1700 and 2100??? thanks guys.

No and never will. Totally different bands. You will get edge. =)

how do you get edge to work? can't get it to work for tmo with unlocked sprint
