open avg, double click on resident shield, then uncheck the box for resident shield active. then save changes
Thats how i disabled it but still a no go. Im going to try by uninstalling it and report back with my results

did you already try adding the unlocker to the exception list in DEP settings, like step 4 mentions?

i forgot one thing that it could be. go to add/remove programs on your computer and make sure Microsoft .net framework 3.5 SP1 is there. let me know.

SWEET! antivirus and firewall are usually what cause problems for the unlocker. what version of avg do you have? is it avg free or is it avg pro or avg internet security?

Im guessing it was the firewall and antivirus that were giving me problems. I have the avg free with all the updates. Not sure what version of it though.

thanks for the info. just wanted to know for future reference. but like i said earlier, you are the only one that has mentioned having that error you got, so who knows what it was exactly. maybe a glitch with avg. weird stuff.

i can not flash my phone.
