Anyone have a link to the original unlocker? Is it possible to "downgrade"? I've had more problems with the newest version than the original...

ok, i'm trying to unlock my TP2 so I can add custom roms to it, but everytime I download the hard spl, I try to extract it to a folder, it says "it cannot find the file". What am I doing wrong? I have flashed several roms on my first touch pro with no problems before, I don't know why i'm getting stuck now.

Disable your anti-virus protection. Once you have that make sure that you run it as an administrator and if it doesn't work check your DEP settings for that file.

Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to all of this. After a lot of indecision, I unlocked and flashed my touch pro a few months ago. I recently got a touch pro2 as a replacement because of the text message issue. Anyways, I was thinking about unlocking my pro2 and decided to check the bootloader first. It says "SPL-1.00.OlinNex". From the reading in this thread, I just wanted to verify that means its unlocked. That would also mean that I received an unlocked phone from Sprint...

Yup that's unlocked. Someone probably bought it, unlocked it, returned it and it was refurbished and sent to you. If you're curious then send an email to Olinex or Cmonex with your ESN and ask them to check to see when it was unlocked :)

I must be doing something wrong. I downloaded the Rhodium; sync'd my TP2 and ran the file.

The screen goes black and stays that way.

I can reboot and the phone is fine.

I'm on Telus and want to be able to run Mighy Rom.

Any help for a noob would be appreciated. If I can get this figured out I'd be more than happy to make a donation as well.

Please Help:)

Trying to flash Mighty Rom onto TP2 wm 6.1 ; Carrier is Telus CDMA.

I have downloaded RhodiumW-HardSPL_V1_10R3_100HSLP.zip

I Extracted to a folder on the PC.

I have connected to Active Sync via the phone.

When I run the Unlocker the screen goes black but the RUU does not launch.

It eventually times out (ERROR 262)

I can reboot the phone just fine. When I check I am still not unlocked.

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? I have reviewed the step by step instructions but to no avail. I have made multiple attempts with no success.
