trying to unlock sprint TP2

the unlcoker keeps displaying a "fatal error" message

saying the phone is not synched and it clearly is

any help would be appreciated

this will have no effect on my international sim (sprint)? and if i wanted to sim unlock (instead of this) for domestic use i still have to pay whatever carrier i would be on? finally, sim unlocking to go to the vzw radio, also no effect for intl. sim? this whole sim deal is new and SCARY.

Are you running it as an administrator with DEP disabled and antivirus disabled?

HardSPL does nothing to SIM usage.

SIM Unlock allows any sim to be used domestically and doesn't affect international usage.

that is what i figured, but i have kids so i have learned to use language as an excluder. would the sim unlock get me on a gsm network, or would i have to go through a provider.

You still need to purchase a SIM and have it active on the target network before you can get any service - just like with any other GSM phone.

Just an FYI for anyone who might have had the same problem that I did.

Once I switched this to another PC and tried again it worked fine.

I was trying to run this from my work PC which is locked up Fort Knox!

Anyways all is well now!
