I'm sorry but, their support is horrible. The most amusing part is, you "donate" but if you donate less than $24 american... it's rejected.

That being said, maybe i'm jaded. For personal use i tried to flash another phone... now get this

Different OS with a different IP and it says it's already been done.. There's noway they can track that unless they are tracking ethernet adapter addresses. My MAC address is different with the different operating system..

Holy shit... the "donation" is up to $24 now? That is absolutely ridiculous. They are tracking the IMEI of the phone, so as soon as you tried to unlock it from a PC that has already done so, the new phone is now blacklisted until you either pay or wait up to a week for support.

Let me ask you both this.....are your phones un-locked????

Give these guys a break. They put in a lot of hard work to get this done for us and it unlocks so many opportunities for us as the consumer that we wouldn't have been able to get otherwise. For most, it works just fine. It didn't work the first time for me so I placed a ticket in the morning and they had me unlocked by the end of the day. It was a long day but it was worth the wait. They are also providing continuing support for this.

I do agree that it is a good business though and they're cashing in =D>

Did you place something specific in your ticket title? I sent one 2 weeks ago, never got an answer. I placed another one today, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I would still like to know.

no...it's not up to $24. It's currently at 4GBP for the hspl unlocker, which converts to $6.29. It's 10GBP for the sim unlocker, which converts to $15.72

If you had read my previous post you would see that I completely uninstalled my antivirus (not just so I can unlock my phone but because it was causing other unrelated problems). Also the unlocker exe was not on the quarantine list so I think I can rule out the antivirus software as the problem. I then re downloaded the unlocker and still have the same problem. I also disabled all the vista security software and that didn't work.

I did some searching on google about vista automatically removing exe files and it looks like a lot of people are having similar problems but I could not find a solution. Some people suggested disabling UAC which I tried and it didn't work.

The extraction did work when I extracted it to my sd card using my phone but as soon as I tried to transfer the exe to my computer it disappeared. Therefor I was not able to run the exe on my computer. It seems like this is one of the many issues with vista. Unfortunately I can't install xp on my laptop as there are no xp drivers available for some of my hardware and I don't have another computer to use.

Is there a reason there isn't a nbh file available for the Touch Pro 2 to unlock it like there is for the Touch Pro 1? Sorry if that is a stupid question but I just switched a few days ago from a Touch Pro 1 to a Touch Pro 2 and never had any problems like this unlocking the Touch Pro 1. I was able to unlock it right from my sd card. Hopefully I can figure this out soon because I miss having energyrom on my phone.

I found what had to be done. You have to open the folder in which the UNLOCKER is in. right click on it. Click on RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. It worked for me and Im running crappy Vista.

Where is the link for the 4$ , i have reread you're right the 24 is for the sim unlock. I would pay the $4 again.. and i said "again" just to not have to wait and get this other one done.. if it meant instant unlock. Anyone know if there is a way like the sim ?

there is no link to 4$. If you ran the unlocker right now and it tells you you previously unlocked a device, it gives you a link to "donate" 4GPB and it allows to to unlock instantly. no wait.

You're gonna need to provide more information than that - what exactly is the problem?

Did you fill out a trouble ticket on their website?

Yes I just did, thanks. So what happens now I'm the new guy sorry.

This is my issue; I'm having trouble flashing my Touch pro2, I had to have my carrier send me a new phone because of a software issue I was having. So now I have the new phone, and now I can't flash it for whatever reason. When the phone is synced I run the Hard SPL unlocker once it kicked me out, then it made my cpu restart. So now I don't know what to do, in other words HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
