In preparation of this new rom, I have a question. . . To keep things smooth running, is it best I install my various apps to the device or to my SD card? Does install most of your apps to the device produce lag, or lead to a slower rom?

I don't think it makes any difference where you install your cabs. Coming from the Diamond, having this much space is great so i usually install most of my cabs to device memory now. Only one I dont is mini since I have folder set up on the storage card so each time its installed post flash, all passwords and settings are already ready to go.

Yeah lately during my flashing binges. . . i have been using Sashami which i install to the SD. Might anyone recommend any better alternatives to Sashami?

I agree with Riley. I don't think it makes much difference unless the author says to install to main memory.
Most chefs have used SD card tweaks to speed programs opened or running from the card.

I install all my programs to device. I never get near running out of space so it seems the best route since main memory is faster than sd.

Well, Mr.X you did it again!
I can't find anything wrong with the update.
Fast, responsive, and stable just like the last one.
Great looking theme just to add eye candy to a fantastic ROM.
Battery life is good, WIFI works without a hitch.
Can't test MMS cause of Stupid Telus!
Look forward to your finished update with the other apps added back in!
