I agree the X behavior is annoying. Hopefully Showcase is updated so it doesn't crash Sense. In the meantime, we at least have somewhat of a solution.

Yea I saw that fix a while back too, and I tried it a few builds ago, it made that bug bearable. Still not as good as the real HTC volume skin.

Please do tell me if you have do or do not have the clock in the taskbar.

Yea if Showcase was updated to work I think a lot of people would be very happy.

There has GOT to be a reg file or something to tell the weather to "update now" at a certain interval.. its almost useless if it doesn't update with out me manually going in and hitting Update now...

How many times are you going to ask this??? You've been told multiple times that there isn't. Don't you think if there was a fix people would have told you by now? There isn't some conspiracy to keep your weather from updating every 5 minutes.

Mine seems to update every 2 hours unless I manually update it. If yours isn't, it sounds like a hard reset is in order.

I think the only fix is to get Manila 2.5.

FYI I finally tried Opera Mini 5 beta and it's nice and smooth suites my mobile web browsing needs (I just use my phone to check sports scores and read some news). Armed with this I might go back to 28002 or 23869 (which only have Opera 10 beta and IE

)... something to do over Thanksgiving!!!

That application is not a "fix". It's standalone application, just like HTC's OWN "volume control" app is. I tried "SetVolume" but it's just too buggy.

HTC's volume control doesn't work with the 6.5.1 builds simply because microsoft changed the way applications hook the volume keys, therefore htc's app can't control the volume that way. If you click on the top taskbar and click on the speaker, you can see it in action.

Until someone or HTC rewrites the volume control app to conform to Microsoft's new standards, the volume control bars will not be skinned. It's not a "bug", it's the way it comes from Microsoft and it's quite "normal". We were just spoiled with HTC's nice volume app until now.

What kind of hoops did you have to jump through to install it? I've tried so many roms that I don't remember whether we have a JRE installed or not.

I tried Fennec earlier in the week. It's totally not ready for prime time.
