It has finger scrolling, but it lacks the "snap back" scrolling that we currently have. For some reasons, the WM6.5.1 builds have been doing that lately! It's like WM6.1 all over again lol.

But that's Microsoft's fault. I would think they would bring back the kinetic scrolling, but for now, they probably don't mind, since no one is supposed to be using it!

23081 has kinetic scrolling correct?

Not exactly...you can scroll with your finger, but once you reach the end of the list, it doesn't have the "snap back" effect like standard WM6.5 or the iPhone, or the Palm Pre has.

I thought kinetic scrolling meant that when you use your finger to flick scroll it speeds up so you can get to the end of a list more quickly. Am I incorrect?

Regardless I still want to try the new build. I had problems using 23081 for everyday, but I liked not having the "x" button in the upper right corner. It's a real pain to push especially if you have a snap on case.

Well like I said, the only difference is really that it lacks that "snap back" feeling when reaching the end of the list. You will notice a difference when you flash the 23081, it's weirddd! It's EXACTLY like WM6.1, which I think you had on your phone originally. That's what it's like.

Ah, okay I get it.

Anyone have an idea how the speed and snappiness of the new build of 6.5.1 compares to 21864? Cause to be honest, 21864 has been pretty stable for me but sometimes feels a little sluggish. It's not like I moved to the TP2 from an iphone or anything either, I had a palm centro before. I would gladly trade "snap back" for a faster smoother experience.

thats suppose to be the one of the added features of the 6.5.1 builds, the fact that they are alot faster then 6.5. I also am willing to give up the "snap back feature" for the faster sys and more finger friendly menus. 23081 is extremely fast, even faster then 6.1 imo, but i have to do a reset once a day. I know its because its not a full release, just beta.

Anyone else notice volume levels for ringers being a bit low sometimes? I run alotta crap so its hard to tell what the cause is but my rings are pretty quiet. I have missed a few when the phone was in my pocket or with the speaker down.

Either way , any thoughts on boosting it? Volume is up all the way already and the ring tones are already tweaked a little high.

Oh, and to add above ... I reset once a day as well but currently have the 23081 rom and 3 beta release apps running so its hard to say which gives the phone indegestion

Re: |CRP|6.5.1|ROM|WWE| ★ EnergyROM "Photon" (23081/21864) ★ Weatherclock Manila 2.1

I am having an issue with the power increments coming up in 10% increments.

I installed the Nuepower driver and it stayed at 100...... didnt move one bit.

Anyone have any ideas?
