You can disable it in reg here: HKLM > SOFTWARE > HTC > PHONE > PhoneExtendedSettings ... KeyPadVibration and set to 0 ... or you can try my cab that disables vibration there and a bunch of other places like Opera, ApVibration, etc.

anyone else's phone constantly restarting? it usually happens after i send a text with the keyboard out once i press send and close the phone it resets...sometimes twice

Have been running this ROM for a while (not sure if it is the latest) but the screen lock does not seem to work... keeps opening when I am trying to carry it in my pocket or holder. Any ideas on a fix?

the only time mine does that is if I close the keyboard hard.
It seems the 'bounce' the battery connection just enough to restart the phone.
can do this on stock rom or any other rom for that matter.
one solution I did was to add a small amount of rubber to the non connector side of the battery to make it a harder fit into the device. just dont use too thick of a piece or battery wont fit.

thanks for the the tip, but that's weird it never used to happen before and i've had this phone for about a year now....its my 3rd replacement model, but damn that never used to happen with my previous TP2 units

Just wanted to report that I followed teradog's example out of curiosity and traded in Sense & CHT for IPToday. I am in love all over again, and will probably never go back! I wasn't trying to beat his record for free RAM, but after completely setting up my phone, I started with 125 which settled to 115-120. I also used htcRIE (thanks kozmo) to remove stuff I didn't want. It's a fantastic program... really surprised I didn't find more posts about it... My phone is soooo snappy. No issues whatsoever!

to back up ur ipt all u have 2 do is copy the 2 xmls in the ipt prog dir.. ill get u mine, have some awesome tweeks.. u gotta ck out the dream phone 2 thread & try the 100% transparent!.. in ipt u can also set bkgrnd to flow left & right...
