As I understand it, radio choice is only a matter of personal preference and signal strength. Different radios work better for different people.

Does anyone know a way to tell if my phone is security unlocked? I remember paying Olipro to unlock my phone back in Feb, but I don't remember if I paid for the whole shebang or not and I certainly don't want to pay again if I don't have to. I want to try the new radio.

To install to SD card, put the CAB files in a folder named "SD" (take of the quotes...) that is located in the XDA_UC folder. I think... I'm pretty sure that is right.

I am doing a lot of flash work this morning on two different phones, and the one that was already unlocked actually said "SECURITY UNLOCKED" while in the bootloader screen. 99% sure of that.

Thanks for the radio info! So I guess if I am truly bored, just keep installing different radio versions to see if one works way better than another?

If you paid, then you should be security unlocked to flash radios. The HardSPL Unlocker was offered free.

it is my understanding that /sd allows for user ineration with the cab install

Get into Bootloader. At the very top, if it says "Security Unlocked" then it is. If it doesn't, then it isn't.

You are correct, however I just removed that bit from my sashimi reg section and redid it manually just to make sure everything worked correctly

Considering you're the only one posting with this problem, it's more than likely something on your end. Are you importing any settings via xda_uc or sashimi? If so, you should try a clean install and manually install your tweaks to see what exactly is causing the problem.

Typically when NRG is tweeting about Radio versions he's referring to HD2's, so nothing we need to concern ourselves about. I've been running the 2.32WU Radio for quite a while with great success.
