Even still, you have to unlock the CID/SIm or whatever to update the radio ...which affects signal....all the other stuff.

I was just wondering if that was worth while and if I needed to pay to do it, and if I should pay to do it. yeah I have verizon....and yeah I used to update the radio for free on 6700 but now have a Touch pro 2....loving every minute of it too.

I am running 30 Mar MAX and I am recieving this message even though i am conntected and recieving data. I am on a Verizon extended network so this could be part of my problem but I need to konw if I can fix this problem or disable the warning message.

You are correct the problem occurs when you are in an Extended network area. The issue can be resolved by loading a modified PRL found in this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=98401 I am running the 65084 version on my phone and no longer have the pop-up. The other PRL attached in the thread seems to cause issues with data connections. I recommed 65084

Uh but are you a CDMA OR GSM? It says that you have AT&T! If you don't have sprint, verizon etc you are in the wrong place!!!

verizon will give you an unlock code, you dont need to pay for it, theres a few threads with 'ways to ask for your code', but sprint ppl need to pay to get unlocked, so if i had verizon id probably unlock for the hell of it.

So did nrg decide to change the march 30th 21898 max rom after all? I noticed it now says april 1st. I thought he said the only roms he was changing was 23554. Any answers on this would be great! Change log perhaps?

Okay maybe someone can help me. Cuz, at 1st I thought it was provider error, but it seems to be strictly connected to energy's rom. Probabbly a fix that I overlooked, or a setting I dunno...

My problem:

After Flashing to energy rom 21898 (1 april - latest). I have problems with SMS messages. My TP2 - Sprint version, is on a GSM carrier (romanian). Sometimes when I try to have a conversation with someone in SMS my text messages cannot be sent 'Your text message could not be sent', but I can receive them. It's not connected to just 1 person, but to more/all (tested).

On the other hand, when I try to send a SMS with new SMS, add the contact to reciepent, fill out the text. it sends just fine.

It doesn't work ONLY when I send SMSs directly from the conversation window (dunno if im naming it right but it's the one )

Me : HI!

Contact12312 : Hellow !

Me: How are you?


etc.


Also, I should point out that the UNSENT TEXT message appears to be send:


" Me: I like chicken!" appears in the convo window, but I get error that it hasn't been sent.


If someone could point out a fix, it would be splendid. I'm really buggered with this problem.

Also, NICE ROM, ENERGY! still the 2.5 sens version works slugish for me, som Im sticking with 2.1 21898.

i noticed that in the latest release of 21898 Sense 2.5 with MaxManila, the clock on today's screen has no second hand, anyone else noticed that?
