Let me start off by saying Ive used like 4 different ROMs, and this is BY FAR my favorite. I will use it even if I cant get the following problem fixed, because it is that impressive to me. Im using 21892 March 7th.

II don't want to get flamed guys, but I have read and tried almost every fix in the FAQs and threads about sprint text messaging and cant get the 2016 fixed. I know that should be a simple fix, but I cant get it. Ive downloaded the Zenyee Disable HTC messsaging, Ive installed the "MMS Fix (2.1) (Sprint).cab" and tried entering the sprint site settings as some of the earlier posts mentioned. I just can't get it fixed.

I can send texts and receive texts. I can send pic messages and receive pic messages. I fixed the keyboard thing as well with your cab. So, I want you to know Ive read through the posts and have tried finding the fixes, and this is the one I just cant get done. Any advice?

Just started using the new lock cab that's pretty sweet have my tp2 running like a champ and also got android running on my TP2. so far best of both worlds.

If you use either the March 9 or 13 ROMs and run carrier provisioning, you will find that MMS works without having to do any other settings.

Does the lock screen mess with your hardware KB? I tried it when it first came out and it screwed up the ability to use the KB, I would have to turn the screen off and then back on to get it to work...

i think the battery life on the march 13 23544 cookie rom is the best right now. i'm not running the 1% battery, but the phone is showing 70% after 24 hours. i have the phone checking mail every 30 minutes, i have bluetooth on when i'm in the car, use the phone periodically to check weather and twitter, and phone calls here and there

You don't need those fixes to get mms to work, but I see you have that working so no prob... what you need is the 2016 fix and there is a whole thread stickied just for that issue here:

In the first post there should be a cab with "2016" in the name. That should be the one you need.

What I was describing wouldn't affect whether your xml files ran. I was responding to your question on how sashimi handles a soft-reset after a cab installation.

If you haven't used it already, start with Murducky's guide:

Midway down the first post he has a discussion on UC setup, including the SDConfig.txt file. The sample file he gives already does what I indicated, by copying the shortcut file to the /Windows/Startup folder. If you do it this way, Sashimi should automatically resume after a soft-reset during cab installs.

Then you just need to delete the shortcut/link from the the Windows\Startup folder, which is done using deleteops.ini. deleteops.ini goes in SASHIMI\Program\INI.

The Sashimi.html file in the Sashimi Help directory describes deleteops.ini, and other aspects of setting up Sashimi.
