Im having a problem when I receive a text message it doesn't show up in manilla have to hit all messages to get to windows to see it. Am I the only one I kinda figure that I borked it... Im running the mar 7 23542 2.5 cookie...

hmm thanks for the info, i just looked at the video, and it seems like it pretty much serves the same functionality as MaxManila...

it seems pretty cool, but i read something about "registry editing" in that post, so does that mean that instead of MaxManila, where you pretty much just click and drag to make modifications visually, i have to go hunting down and editing registry values on my phone with cookiemonster???

also one more thing.......... which one leads to a generally faster ROM?? Maxmanila, or cookiemonnster?

Same here. I get " NRGZ28 USCellular Prov" cannot be installed. To try installing again to a different location, choose a location.

Thanks neudof, but I tried that fix and no go. It is something having to do with that pin lockout screen. In my original post I said I was going back to march 5th, but I meant Feb 26, March 5th also did not work. I think it had to do with the kitchen change. I posted my issue in the xda thread your link refers to the original poster cyyp, but he has yet to respond and its been about a week...

There is a GUI Editor app for the Co0kie Mod.
So you do not have to edit the registry manually.
It's a matter of what each user wants.
Both mods are pretty quick and clean now.
If you don't know which you prefer, I still suggest installing a clean rom and trying them both for yourself.

Plus, as I have posted in the Co0kie thread, 1.6.1 is just a few days away. 1.7 is in the works.
So to me, it makes no sense to install a rom with either one cooked in.

well i already tried maxmanila, i've seen what it does, it's pretty cool, but i found my phone became VERY slow only after 2-3 months of use. i do not think this has to do with the maxmanila app, because i HAVE to flash my ROM every 2 months because it becomes so slow after 2 months that it takes me over 10 seconds to bring up my txt msgs, or calendar appointments and shit, i don't know why

so i guess i'll try cookiemonster to see what's up, and hopefully it doesn't slow down again in less than 2 months...

The correct provisioning by carrier should fix any keyboard issues...
