Thanks - there's so much of this that I feel like I'm very good at and grasping what others seem to miss. It's probably good for me to totally miss something easy sometimes.

I found that the difference between his directions and the other "fixes" on the forum are:

1. Don't put "1" in front of your phone number in the server address.
2. Set WAP to "None".

If you're using MaxManilla, swipe down to access the MaxManilla settings.

Change Clock to D, MF, LF, or S (whichever clock you prefer)

If you're not on MaxManilla, I'm sure someone has a .Cab for you.

I didnt find the need to install any cabs & I also installed the arcsoft 2.5 NRGZ posted and now have both softwares working!! YAY!!

that's it never knew that was there thanks a million i was considering a different rom. don't care for the analog clocks
