Thats what i came here to post also...once u plug the headphones in it goes on speaker phone comes out the headphones...and I found this out while on a call....

Just to clarify, flashing to stock also flashes the stock radio. You WILL NOT LOSE THE ABILITY TO FLASH ANOTHER UNLOCKED RADIO.

I flash to stock periodically if I run across a lot of issues and I want to start fresh. I don't flash stock everytime NRGZ comes out with a new update and I don't have any abnormal issues 99% of the time.

I am running the Energy "Leo" 23518 |Jan 20| ★ Sense 2.5 / MaxManila and I have a problem with closing applications. I set the WVGA Tweeks to close the application with the "x" I have also done it under the quick menu options. Still nothing works and I have to hit the quick menu to close the application. (plus that is not finger freindly at all!) I liked the old HTC task manager in the right hand corner. Any ideas? Thanks all.

BTW, I wanted to thank everyone for their post. Great information and very helpful.

Flashing back to stock does nothing to the ability to reflash your rom over & over. I have a dozen times....

Techinically, if Oli & crew would allow a hardspl without unlocking sim you wouldnt need to unlock your sim. Putting you phone in airplane mode unlocks the phone. Since you need the hardspl to change your roms well thats how it goes. That being said....

The only reason you really should need to reflash a stock rom would be to install new radio.. prl the tower & your good to go... Or you need to have your phone serviced of course.

Now if you find however that stuff is leftover from a prior custom rom, you dont need to flash back to stock & then back to custom... Just reflash the new custom rom again with the new rom your trying to use.. Yes i've had to do that 2 times out of all the new roms ive tried since begin oct..

Same principle of computers as an example... NEVER buy upgrades as you get crap left behind & a screwy system.. get full versions... Unless you know how to zero out a hard drive & wipe a boot sector like I always did. upgrades just suck!;...

I reloaded the 23518 rom.. better data disconnect when it's supposed too although not always.

However, I still have the silent phone issue and have tried the going out of sense setting it and going back in.. Doesn't work..

I am also getting my phone NOT even poppin up that a call is even coming in... and it's sitting right next to me while im testing these fix's that dont work..

Im not looking forward to the next version that leaves out the doc tab... SO could we please get the phone issue fixed & working as I really LUVVVV this one snd may actually stay with it.

For anyone having slow downs in Manilla (like I was), this cab worked for me on the Jan 14th 23518.
The Documents Tab will show a full 99999/99999 and not search for new items.

need some help! using the 1/20 21889, my SMS won't send, it just sit in the outbox forever, what gives?

also the entire phone slow down to a crawl if i have too much SMS after i restore them from PIMbackup (end up doing a clean up and deleted alot of old SMS) which help out somewhat

Did you try this for "Silent phone" or do you mean something else?
