This ROM seem to close to being ridiculously amazing. Just small bugs like no sound in youtube, MSN live looping during setup, no data during tethering Ect. Nothing major tho, Great Rom, wish I had time to learn more about this.

install and sr and tether away,it's how im answering this post it won't direct you to the pg anymore,it works to,if unsure you can check you data useage on your bill nightly and see your not being charged

I guess I CAN tell you that what's needed isn't in the results. 99.9% of all search results deal with Verizon and US carrier. The Sprint fix has always been to install HTC disable and then install Arcsoft. Worked just fine up until the last 2 NRG roms for me. What errors I'm getting are not in any previous post about MMS problems or anything that I have seen before. I even tried the manual data change in the server list and it had no effect. I flashed to stock and then to each new ROM. I even redownloaded the ROMs in case I had a bad DL. I receive notification that I have a new picture mail but when I try to open it I get a brand new pop up telling me that this instance of MMS has to be closed and a new instance opened. I say yes and then a pop up telling me there was a dl error and asking me if I want to retry now or later. I even deleted my HTC disable and Arcsoft cabs and redownload them and tried again. Same results. I tried doing just the server data enty change by itself and it fails right off the bat.

So let me ask this again to anyone that has their MMS working on SPRINT. What, if anything different did you do to get your MMS working, or are there others on SPRINT that are seeing the same as I am seeing with this or the last ROM.

Also my Garmin Mobile XT does not work with either of the last two builds.

Great work NRGZ. I always look forward to testing out your latest and greatest work. Question, does anyone have the issue of downloading cabs and not being able to locate them, I don't use the youtube app on the phone I use the mobile youtube application and videos from the site will not play and last but not least I have never been able to get Telenav to work it always says gps signal is too weak. I would say it was a singular issue but I have been able to do all of the above on other roms. Can anyone point me to a solution to these issues?

I really like the EnergyROM_23518_RHOD500_20.Jan.2010_StandardM2.5_M axManila ROM but NEED to be able to use Garmin XT. It works just fine in the EnergyROM_23518_RHOD500_14.Jan.2010_StandardM2.5 ROM. Does anyone know what happened and why it won't load?

I am on Sprint and this is what I did. These steps were posted by someone else (so Thanks to whomever it was) but these are the exact .cabs I used to make it finally work


1. Flash to STOCK
2. Install ROM (23518_20.Jan.2010_StandardM2.5_MaxManila)
3. Wipe Phone
4. Install HTC messaging disable cab (Disable HTC Messaging 1.2.CAB)
5. Soft reset
6. Install latest and greatest Arcsoft (MMS Fix (M2.1) (Sprint).cab)
7. Soft reset
8. Enjoy...Messaging working fine.

It was the only thing I couldn't get working so now I am very happy!!
I hope it works for everyone one Sprint - Good Luck

LOL...I'm the one that posted those steps but for WHATEVER reason the MMS gods are playing with me and it's not working as it has always before...

Best I can figure is that something is staying in memeory and not getting wiped completely. Got the day off ( snow ) so will start from square one and try again. I'm on a quest now....it's personal....lol

I just noticed that I had this "Disable MMS Connect Warning.cab" installed first using sashimi... before I followed those steps... maybe that has something to do with it.
