try the search button... it works wonders LMAO. "picture mail fix" is all you need. people would be more willing to help if they didn't get the same retarded questions that have been answered over and over.

...and by the way, i do know, and seems to be working just fine. good luck in your search.

Is it just me or does Sense freeze up a lot? I mean, freeze so badly that the today screen is stuck black and I have to soft-reset to fix it. I've had to soft-reset 5 times today, twice in the past hour because Sense froze on me and wouldn't come back.

Re: |R|6.5.3|WWE| ★ EnergyROM "Leo" 28011/21885 |Dec 31| ★ Sense 2.5/ MaxManila/ Dusk

Running the December 4 regular 6.5 ROM. Love it. One question that I don't see an answer to here: I want to be able to have my clock in the taskbar and also have the battery indicator. If I go to settings and choose to display the clock, the battery indicator disappears (along with the htc task manager).

I know a lot of people find the clock in the taskbar annoying/duplicitive, but it's useful when leaving the home page. But not at the cost of losing the battery indicator. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Your problem might be that QuickGPS is not set to download updates automatically.

Import the following provisioning XML file in order to turn on Quick GPS.

You can also launch the application and download an update manually.
Code:

<wap-provisioningdoc>
  <characteristic type="Registry">
    <characteristic type="HKLM\Software\HTC\QuickGPS">
      <parm name="actSync" datatype="integer" value="1" />
      <parm name="auto" datatype="integer" value="1" />
    </characteristic>
  </characteristic>
</wap-provisioningdoc>
Good luck!

Try disabling document indexing.

Code:
<wap-provisioningdoc>
 <characteristic type="Registry">
  <characteristic type="HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\HTCService">
   <parm name="DocIndexerService" value="DocIndexerService.bak" datatype="string" />
  </characteristic>
 </characteristic>

If you go up one level from this forum, where the link to this forum exists, look for a paper clip on the right side of the page under the ratings column. Click the paper clip and you'll see all the files posted in the forum. You can quickly scan the listing for the correct file.
