I had mine get lost after I installed the Max 2.7 version. I could not get it back till I had to do a reg edit and physically add it back. The SoftKey manager would not work nor was there an option in the WVGA Tweaks for it.

Someone Posted that about 10 pages back, sorry OP, I didn't copy down your name to give credit. That is the fix you need though, edit those two registry settings and soft reset and it will work.

Not sure what you did but when you install that 2,5 cab it goes right back to the HTC Messaging. I am about to give up on sending a damned MMS! This is rediculous!

so uninstall the disable cab, soft reset, then reinstall it and soft reset. that is what i had to do. Sorry if it doesn't work for u.

ok I feel I am going to get blasted for this, but with all the issues with this ROM (sorry if that sounds bad, I love this ROM) who gives a crap about MMS. Does this thread need to be polluted with sprint MMS issues like all the rest? Why do you care? you have a PPC there are other way to send a damn picture!

Or if you are so desperate for MMS, then go back to stock and work out the MMS issue by trying different solutions.

I second this, we need the FAQ on the front page so people can find it quickly and easily. Problem is, people read the first page and just skip to asking there question without reading. And who can blame them when there are more than 500+ pages to go through. And yes, search is an option but will not always get you what you want.
