Has anyone successfully set up a hotmail account on the 28008 Dec 4 ROM? Whenever I try to enter my email address and password, the mail setup wizard closes.

I haven't had an issue with Hotmail, instead it's been GMail. The Gmail link shows up but it doesn't show in the list of active accounts.

Ok, I am having a few issues with Dec 4 28008 ROM that may have been described differently above.

1) I was trying to get some information from Total Command to Opera 10 Beta 2. I go to Total Commander and note in my head part of a path statement. Then I'd switch back to Opera 10 Beta 2 (with Quick Menu or From Home Page by Clicking Windows Button and then Short Cut) and Opera 10 would be gone. I Stopped Sense UI and left QuickMenu running and then it was fine. I don't think it's Opera or QuickMenu but something in Manila 2.5.

2) This is the first ROM that the battery does seem to be sinking quickly, not terrible, about twice as fast as normal. Normal is usually extremely good and I could go 2 days. No way with this ROM and I'd be lucky to make it a day.

Should be the same for all...push the power, call answer and end at the same time and while those three buttons are depressed, press the red reset button on the side. Enjoy the exercise.

I'm convinced the "Interceptor" is the root of a lot of problems on 28008 Leo Dec 4.

I think it's causing windows to disappear or crash.

I think it might be responsible for sucking down the battery too.

When ever I see "Today" patches I always worry.

I've killed it for now by removing it from Windows\Startup.

It will cause the whole manila to be shifted down (a little ugly).

But I prefer a little ugly than a lot of unstable. I was about ready to revert to something else (Probably Energy Leo 28004) if I didn't do this.

I'll report how battery does tomorrow but it has fixed the windows just disappearing. For example when switching back and forth between total commander and opera 10 beta 2 with quick menu.

This is still my favorite ROM even with a few glitches.

And I look forward to new ones and all the work Engery puts into them.
