Yea it seems that the newest nrg rom 21869 19.11.09 seems to be crashing sense when used with max manila 2.519202525. a version that worked perfectly with the 23504 build from the 9th. guess i am going to revert back to 23504 as I love max manila. the rest of the rom seemed promising though

yes, but more so hdwalls doesn't seem to be working with 2.2 and today's rom

We have to keep in mind that Max manila is used for certain manila types.. 23504 is 1920 and new rom with 21869 is 1921.. I ran into that problem going from 1919 to 1920 and max updated the files to work. Hopefully he will do the same for 1921.. Until then I'm good with 23504 and 1920..

just flashed the rom, i realized that nrg didn't include any provisioning for carriers. is that no longer needed?

Does anyone have any more information this? I'm still running the 11/9/09 release and have noticed a process gwes.exe go from 30MB at startup to 45MB or higher within an hour or two. This is the only major hiccup I've had with the ROM on either 6.5 or 6.5.1 build. :-/

It seems its a system process as well, I tried killing it once and it ended up locking up the whole device and required a soft reset.

Any help or further information from NRG or any of the knowledgeable members would be great. Thanks!


edit: Well gwes caches memory and graphics information so there's nothing we can do about that. It just sucks that I have to basically soft-reset every day to keep the phone functioning perfectly. I guess I'll have to uninstall some software and experiment to see the best way to keep this thing running smoothly.

You should install cleanram.. Will atleast keep you from having to softrest all the time..

Just noticed there's a new ROM in the Hotfile folder marked with today's date, maybe I'll upgrade to the 6.5.1 version.
