I don't have any problems with the mail or message tab though, I'm flashing 11/2 number two right now though, so I'll see if I do then...
I'm seeing the same thing. You can actually see the top 3 move as you move the slider on the calendar. I see it with the blue bubbles on the mail and text tabs. They look normal when there aren't new messages. I don't remember this at all on the 10/25 version. I only noticed it on the 2 11/2 versions.

I've only ever used the stable 21864 versions.

On another note, I've run all 3 versions (of the 21864 stable version) of this rom, and I'm having problems with Sashimi like I've never had before. It apparently quits in the middle of an auto install. A little over halfway through (doesn't appear to be on the same cab file or anything) it goes back to the home screen and it isn't in the running programs list. I restart it and it will resume where it left off. It's not a huge deal, just wondering if anyone else has run across this.

SMS Error: Cause Code 97

*Edit* I'm running the 10/25 build for clarification with MMS fix installed.

wow. i haven't even noticed that. i'm on the newer version and i get the following:

"undelivered mail returned to sender. this is the postfix program at host mx.messaging.sprintpcs.com"

good catch!

Edit. I sent two test messages from my phone to my email address. the first was SMS, the second was MMS. the SMS gave me an error and the MMS went right through and even delivered my picture. very strange. i'd say there was another set of server settings that we've missed.

Thanks for keeping up with this. Could you be a little more specific? I turned off HTC sense in today items, and still have the bottom bar. Like the rom, but would like to get mobile shell running on it. Running the Nov 2, 23081

i saw that too. but what's cool about it is if you notice, unlike the older version of manila, this one actually uses the correct day of the month.

Kevin

any reason you choose sashimi over spb backup?
imo sashimi pales in comparison.

Hmm... I did install the MMS fix but how do I actually choose to send an MMS? I don't see it in options. Do I just insert a photo and it becomes one?

Yes indeed. I'm dumping the manila files right now to see if I can find that file to patch though, cause now that I see it, it's gunna bug me forever...
