Edit. have you tried accessing the internet first, making sure you have a connection, then trying to update? i have to do that on my wife's TP1 using bike's rom.

i believe it uses GPS to find your location so if you're indoors that might be why...

No, it doesn't.

It uses Cellular Triangulation to find your location. Various networks may or may not support that on 3G.

i have installed the MMS fix for universal but it gave me an error due to permission error???? I have sprint TP2. I guess i need some help or wait for a Sprint CAB for MMS fix. thx

You didn't read the Troubleshooting section, right below the download

Troubleshooting
If you get a "Permissions" error, that means Messaging is still open. Either close Messaging from a task manager, Or soft restart your phone, and install the CAB directly after restarting.

Since the MMS Fix installs a bit better version of the Messaging app, you have to have Messaging closed first.

Just 1 thing, how come when you try and set weather wall paper you go back to the default? Is there any way to get a custom picture with weather wall paper?
