This is great rom. Thanks to everyone involved in getting it to us.

I do have one annoying bug, though. It seems that if I use the camera to take more than a couple of consecutive pics, it freezes the device and requires a soft reset. Sometimes it will do this while I'm still in camera mode and sometimes it will do it immediately after I exit. I only noticed a couple of mentions about it in this thread so, I naturally assumed it was something I was doing or installing. After several hard resets and some troubleshooting, I have still not found a solution.

Any ideas???

I'm using the Feb 4th 23519 build.

It has happened to me on occasion with past roms also... No idea why! I haven't tried snapping a pic with 2/4 23519 yet...

I need help. I have tried several ROMs over the past couple of months, and have settled on EnergyROM as the one I like the best. I am on Verizon with a TP2. For the past two years I have used Vito SMS-Chat as my text message software of choice, and on the latest versions of EnergyROM, SMS-Chat will not send out a text message. It will receive, and if I have a text waiting to go out in SMS-Chat, and then go into the stock messenger, and send it out there, the one waiting in SMS-Chat will then go ahead and send also. Almost like the stock program has to "open the door" to let the SMS-Chat message out. SMS-Chat will work just fine in Calkulin's latest release (2-4-10), and was also working perfectly when I was using MightyROM last month. I have searched the forums through and through and can't find a fix for this. I know there are some brilliant people out there who probably would know exactly what to do, but I have been unable to solve this problem. I honestly want to stay with EnergyROM, but if I can't get this working, it may be a deal breaker for me. Thanks in advance for any help someone can provide.

Screen rotation issue here as well...was about to hard reset to make sure it wasnt just me, so I'm glad I'm not the only one...wasn't looking forward to a reset.

Install the MMS Fix (Valkyrie) (attached) and let the phone reset

After phone comes back up, go to the messaging tab and click on "all messages"

Click on "Menu" again

Click on "MMS Server"

Click on "VZW"

Set the following:

Server Address: http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms?X-VZW-MDN=(10 digit phone number)

Connect Via: My ISP

Send Limit: 1024 KB

WAP Version: None

Then make sure that VZW is set as the default (it should be already from installing the MMS fix)

I used those steps and can send and receive all messages through HTC messaging.

Thanks, that is the procedure I have been using for the last 10 roms or so and no luck with this one? After hours of frustration, hard reset....re-applied and wola! not sure what the problem was, but all is good again.

Wouldn't happen to know a fix like this for sprint to get htc messaging working for mms?

Look in my signature and use just the Sprint MMS cab (don't need the disable cab)... no need to enter any server settings and raises the limit to 5mb for mms with Sprint
