Hey everyone ... I am on Verizon, with newly installed Nov 9 21864 ROM ... hoping to get solutions on a couple of issues:

1. System load is occassionally VERY long and started to get stuck (visually, not functionally) on HTC Sense Loading step, which requires pressing END button to get the homescreen to fully come up. Can this be related to Glyph Cache settings?

2. The slider is a bit buggy, occassionally the overlay tab goes all white. Experienced something similar (different symptom) with the provided stock cab. Also, anyone know of any other compatible (transparent) slider cabs?

3. What's the bottom line with MMS on this release - there are so many posts on this that it's confusing - what is the best solution thus far? Do I still need the keyboard fix? What about the d3d driver?

5. What's the deal with the expering City ID app - is there a fix, can it be removed?

6. And, not a ROM issue, but anyone know of a solution to make Opera Mini (5 beta) system default browser.

Its the faq for these ROMs. I usually do that MMS fix for verizon when flashing NGR's ROMs. And yes, I do install the keyboard too. You can check to see by trying to type out "/" on your keyboard.

There's a workaround for getting number 5 to constantly work within the past 25 or so pages of this thread, though I'd rather not repeat it as it questions personal ethics.

Yea, that top curtain is pretty annoying mostly on a fairly empty screen as HD walls removes the taskbar's and the start menu's curtains. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon.

I am a verizon user running EnergyROM 21864 Nov. 9 and jmz provisioning keeps popping up after every restart. I clicked Verizon, skip, exit and nothing can get it to stop. any ideas?

delete windows/startup/provisioning.lnk
