Looking for a way to get rid of the flipping boxes around the clock, leaving just the plain digits. The "clock only home screen" works great on 6.1, but not on 6.5 manilas. All the screen shots I see are with some incarnation of the flipping boxes. I think it'd look pretty cool and clean to have the weather without the boxes in the way. Anybody know? The thread's to huge to read everything.

Look in you windows directory Its the 5th folder down called CityID

They're part of different COMs (build lines).

23081 = COM 3
23504 = COM 5

From what I understand, beta/new stuff goes into COM4 then moved to COM3 when stabilized.

COM5 is new and so far no one AFAIK knows what exactly is different than the COM3 line. There is actually a 23085 out too.

23504 doesn't look any different and kinetic scrolling is still absent, but it is supposed to be very fast.

i have 2 problems:

1: i dont have htc volume control
2: after i disabled manila messaging when i have a new message it doesnt show up in the icon in manila

HTC volume control should be under tools, then tweaks

I haven't done this but I assume once you disable manila msging that it won't show in manila.

it is in tweaks but no matter what i do i have the windows mobile volume when i use the volume rocker

96.85 MB Free RAM and 218.89 MB Free Storage space on fresh install (From the ROM's Page)

More storage space is used because (1) this is WM6.5, a larger, but better, operating system. (2) This is also Manila 2.5, which is a better but again, larger, version of Manila.

ActiveSync Issues (23081 Version)

1. Go to Start -> Settings -> Connections -> USB to PC
2. Uncheck the last, "Ask me first about USB...." box
3. Make sure the "ActiveSync (Sync with Outlook)" bubble is filled in.
4. You may need to restart the phone for ActiveSync to start working)

Here are the steps i took again. 1 Flashed Nov 3 rom. 2. Installed the disable MMS cab and rebooted. 3. Installed MMS fix 2.1 Sprint and rebooted. 4 Opened the messaging tab and m2.5 messaging is still enabled! Still get the error that I cant send and when someone sends one to me it says it is over the size limitation.
