If the MMS showed in Manila, try to download it. If it fails, check to ensure you have your MMS settings correct in the HTC app, and set WAP mode to "none". This is how I got them to download in the HTC app, but no luck sending yet...

WHAT IN HELL ARE YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT?! All I did was flash the rom and it works! BY the way does anyone know if footprints works on theirs because I'm kindah confused on how to work it?!

Just out of curiosity is there anyway to speed up the way that the phone reads the SMS's when you go into conversation. I think that is the only downfall to this rom...I mean i don't really mind that its a little slower because i'm used to it, but it would be nice if there was a way to make it go a little faster.

You were able to send and receive from HTC messaging without doing any tweaks? I've read every single post in this forum and I only saw one other person besides me that could receive, not send, and we tweaked the crap out of it. By default this ROM is set up to use the WM app, so I'm a bit surprised you got HTC working without doing anything.

I couldn't get footprints to work but I didn't spend a lot of time on it, doesn't seem like that interesting a feature to me...

Short of totally disabling the HTC messaging, app, no. We are stuck with it until HTC gets off their you know whats and realizes that people send more than a handful of SMSes and their app needs to scale its performance much better.

you're the only one I know that is able to send and receive MMS as is utilizing JUST the provisioning AND using HTC's messaging client

I realize the same ROM can act different ways for different people, but I'm not sure I believe that ANYBODY can send & receive pictures & videos using the HTC messaging in this ROM........If somebody really has this working, please post a screen shot so we can see what it looks like.

I would love to know how to do this if it's even possible....

All I did was flash the rom, same thing with the R2! I had no idea until I read what problems was on the rom! If I can I will make a video and put it on youtube so you guys can see what I'm talking about!
