screenshots? and how much RAM is free at boot? im on the stock sprint and im lucky if i even get 90mb

ok so tested it as much as I could, copy/paste/select all seem to work just fine, one thing I noticed is that if you close an office app the clipboard is cleared, but this doesn't surprise me all that much, dont know if it did it in 2007 someone would need to confirm, or ill just clear storage... whichever occurs when i wake up, I dont have that many folders syncing (but the ones I do sync fine), and not in the area previously affected... (by the BETA)

from my 20min of fiddling/testing i dont think their are problems anymore (of course I open this up to others testing and confirming as well as the possibility of it only happening when cooked in, seeing as im not a chef I cannot make this distinction with the latest version of Office 2010 mobile)

next when i wake up, HTC Messaging 1.8... whoopie

always done the same thing in 2007 as well. if you close the application, your clipboard is gone.

I tweaked my settings to ping faster, went down the road a few blocks and did a clear storage/task29 a few times, nope, no autoprov... maybe its (the phone) missing some key data that makes it auto...

EDIT: instead of making another post ill just edit this one, why is it that I can no longer get a GPS lock without using QuickGPS... I still have my mogul (and i redid it recently with the latest sprint rom that DOES NOT have QuickGPS OR active service but has WiFi and GMaps that I installed) and it gets GPS just fine (sometimes take a min or so) while my TP2 will not?

Hi Kane,

I've found that by going into gps settings and changing the default com port from "GPS Intermediate driver" to COM4, I get much quicker gps signal locks.

Are you going to try and get MMS working? GOOD Luck! I spent quite afew hours playing with that. I also know that kliptik and Wesley spent some time trying to get MMS working with the new HTC 1.8 and so far no go. If you didnt know there is a thread with the discussion going on about that.

LOL i agree, but the razor was the best selling phone of all time. Think about it. they have 6-8 version of the razr going all the way back to 2004. I have never seen a phone last 5-6 years and still be popular.

Don't try just do...it works...

As for Office...just let it go...if you want the new version you have every right to install it...Mike chose 2007 because he was comfortable with it..

Well find the 2.5 tab...(its somewhere on ppcgeeks forum)...then modify the Manila Xml file somehow so that it works with the ROM...
